Spend a unique day exploring our regions stunning mountain scenery in luxury in the expert hands of the acclaimed nature and adventure tour operator EverGreen Escapes. Leave the driving up to us and jump on board our stylish and adventure outfitted bio-fueled Mercedes Van or Jeep. Take in the scenery and take pleasure in the naturalist commentary on local and natural history or pass the two hours by putting on the wireless headsets and watch some inspiring Warren Miller movies on the drop down 15” DVD screen. We make a stop at one of the many waterfalls to take in the views and enjoy morning tea, Fonte coffee and Macrina scones. On the mountain, you can choose to ski with our Escape Artist and soak up some expert knowledge on winter ecology while spotting for hearty wildlife and birds that are surviving in this harsh climate or choose explore the mountain on your own. Half way through the day we rendezvous for our ‘on safari’ lunch before hitting the slopes again. Tired but smarter, we warm up by sipping Theo Hot Cocoa and enjoying fresh fruit and Macrina cookies on our way back down to the Emerald City.
Downhill:
For 70 winters now, the timeless silhouettes of Cowboy Ridge and Big Chief Mountain have stood sentry over Stevens Pass, welcoming generations of skiers and snowboarders to their frosty peaks and blanketed ridges. From first timers to seasoned vets; Stevens Pass has a great variety of the terrain, facilities and a relaxed atmosphere. Families have learned here, children have grown here, and come back with their own children to experience Stevens Pass. From powder days to bluebird skies, from the terrain parks to the backside, from the trails to the slopes this mountain offers skiing, boarding, x-country and telemark skiing encompassing all that is the Northwest riding experience.

Your naturalist guide will captivate you by making the surrounding environment come alive as you share in the experience of spotting for wildlife and wintering birds while gaining expert knowledge on the adaptive winter ecology!
A natural and historic setting for cross-country skiing, skate skiing or snowshoeing, the scenic trail system takes you along the base of Jim Hill Mountain and into the heart of Mill Valley. The Stevens Pass Nordic Center is located on the high and sunny eastern slope of Washington's Central Cascades on US Hwy 2, just five miles east of the alpine resort. Featuring over 28 kilometer of machine-groomed trails nestled amongst the Alpine Lakes and Henry M. Jackson Wilderness Areas and the Wenatchee Okanogan National Forest.
